Memorial Day
So I spent the morning of my memorial day flying to SJ. Then my afternoon was spent unintentionally napping ;-) I woke up at 5PM PDT and realized that I needed to WAKE up and get moving otherwise I wouldn't sleep.
I met up with Ally for a little shopping at Valley Fair, and then dinner at Santana Row. Afterwards, we tried to con Michael into joining us for some late night Kareoke! LOL. Well Michael didn't show, but we had a great time :-) singing our holiday night away :-D

New Patio Set!
OK, well not quite so new...but as GOOD as New!! I spent the late afternoon painting our patio set. Here's some before and after shots. (The textured grey is new, and the green is old)

Scilly's Last Night
So I concluded my week in San Jose with a going away dinner for Scilly. When planning this dinner a few weeks ago, we coined it the "Dinner with the Asian Sensations" :-) (That would be me and Scilly.)
Well after the BoF, and after many tedious discussions (lasting all DAY LONGGG) we finally decided to head to Palo Alto - Nolas for dinner. The resturant had a Mardi-Grias theme with Caijun style food.

After dinner, we moved to the bar next door. (Name has lost me). Anyway, we had a round of drinks...namely the buttery-nipple
Which must has loosened me up, because Mariel convinced me that we needed to ride the bull together.

As you can tell, we had the BEST night ever. It was tons of fun.
We weren't sure how it happened, but suddenly, it was 12:30AM! On a Thursday night with all of us working tomorrow (and me flying home) we definitely made the most of our evening!

Day 3 - Paris
Today Laura somehow managed to convince me to go up to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. I almost threw up on the way up...but once up there it wasn't so bad...

Afterwards, we headed to Notre Dame for a tour of the cathedral.
Lunch afterwards...included dessert...CREPES!
After shopping for a few hours, we headed to the Arc de Triomphe.
We are not relaxing on our deck at the Hilton, Paris, drinking wine (Vin) and eating Cheese (frommage) and Bread (baguette pain)...
Later tonight we will go to dinner and then a bar/pub to celebrate Laura's birthday at Mid-night! Tomorrow we head to London!!

Arrived in Paris - Day 1
So Laura and I have arrived safe and sound in Paris. We haven't slept yet since we left Rochester. When we arrived in France, we jumped on the subways and headed into downtown Paris. After dropping our bags at our hotel, we headed out for lunch. Eating in a quaint french bistro on the street, people watching...After lunch we rented bikes and ended up spending the rest of our first day bike riding around Paris...We rode from the Effiel Tower all along the Siene River to the Louve, where we locked up our bikes and spent a good two hours wondering around the Louve.
We're now in our room getting ready for fancy French Music dinner in Latin Quarter, and then hitting the club near the Arc de Trihiophm (spelling?...I can't spell now. We've had a bottle of wine on our hotel deck, looking at the Eiffel tower...)
Tomorrow the plan is Versailles, and then in the evening, a nighttime bike tour of the city that ends with a cruise down the Siene with free wine.
