Killer Cardio Kick

So, this week I've been really bad about going to the gym because my gym buddy was sick, and it was TOOOO easy to roll over and go back to sleep rather than get up at 6:30 and drag my butt to the gym...

But by Thursday, I was feeling guilty...and berating myself for skipping since I'm on a "diet and exercise" kick. Sooo...I decided to go to the Cardio Kick class at the gym.

I was all proud of myself because I went back, all alone...and I love Cardio kick because I FEEL like it gives me results...when I stick with it...But I arrived at class 15 minutes early. Stood around until class finally started.

The beginning was GREAT! I felt good! And I was keeping up. Fast forward 30 minutes later, to the halfway point. I was sooooo tired. My vision was getting a little blurry, so I took a water break. Afterwards, and for the rest of the class, I really honestly tried...but my arms were mush and wouldn't work. Basically I just hopped back and forth and half-heartedly punched the air for the next 20 mins...then I left 10 mins early ;-)

BUT, the good news is...that the first time back to class is ALWAYS killer. I'm always in 100% pain the next day, especially in my back...but next class won't be so bad...and if all goes well work-wise next week, I might be able to squeeze in the Tuesday night class and the Thursday morning class...We shall see ;-) I'm feeling a bit optimistic, even though I can't walk today :-) hehehehe
