I Love You Bayley
Here are my top three fondest memories of Bayley that I will cherish for the rest of my life:
1. Her totally kissable nose. No other dogs nose has topped hers.
2. Me and Bayley laying on the couch together, watching lifetime TV, munching on cheez-its together. One for me, two for her.
3. Staying home sick in high school, and having Bayley lay on top of me, not letting me move until my mom came home...(even if I was faking it! hehehe)

It's completely official now! EKB Ink, LLC is officially filed! I now own my OWNNNN business!!! WAHOOOO :-) I just talked to the IRS on the phone and the guy was so nice. He actually grew up in Rochester! He took a guess that I went to RIT, and wished me luck, and said that he was certain that I would be successful in my new business :-)) What a nice way to start my own business :-)
Anyway, I now own: http://www.ekbink.com. SHould be active in a few days...and then maybe I'll put something up there. WOW...I'm officially a minority, women, small business owner :-) What an accomplishment!

Big Day! Back to Work!
So how's this for a big day at work...I quit my job yesterday! (I gave my two weeks notice that is.) WOW...It was a long day yesterday!! To top off the day, I had cake decorating class, and having just returned from Florida the night before, I was completely unprepared for class...left half of my materials at home on the table...and my frosting was all messed up and way to thin so my apple blossoms didn't turn out at all. I now have a big project for the weekend...Redoing my colorflow birds, and making lots of apple blossoms for my final cake!! :-) (I've decided on Apple Blossom/Dasiy decorations for my final basket cake!)

Golf Cart De-Capitated
GOLF CART DE-CAPITATED!
That is the title of the news article at my dad's place. Some hoodlem children broke into the underside of my dad's house and took their golf cart (along with 5 other families golf carts) and took them joy riding on the island at night. All 5 other golf carts were recovered, except my dad's poor little golf cart...The only thing that they found, was the roof of the cart, floating in the canal. The police called, and my dad had to go down and ID the golf-cart top. Georgia said that my dad said: "Yep! That's mine! I put these two screws into the top right here, the other day!" hehehehe!!! It's like Law and Order: Golf Cart Edition!
My dad was so sad because it was the first year that the golf cart was actually functioning with NO problems!! And because he put TWO brand new batteries on it, and now they are Lost :-(
CRAZY # 2 Thing:
So my dad was telling us as we were driving to the West Coast that his dog TOBE ate his leash. Not just nibbled on it...but ate the whole gosh darn thing. He had it CLIPPED to his collar because my dad forgot to remove it, and when they woke up in the morning, the blue leash was GONE, and all that hung from NIKE's neck was the clip. The poor dude was throwing up and pooping blue leash chunks for a week!
Well, when we arrived at the house...We were sitting outside on the deck, getting some sun and just talking...We came inside to get our towels so we could take a golf cart ride down to RumBay and the pool. Georgia went to go put her sandels on, but NIKE had eaten the leather straps right off. WTF!! He left the soles, but just liked the straps.
Seymen and I decided that we should change NIKE's name to SANDLES. All last night, Seymen was calling him sandles. :-) I can't stop laughing about it. Now, he's just laying there, all innocent like, with those puppy dog eyes staring at me :-) Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!

Vacation in Florida
So Seymen and I are living it up in Florida. We arrived Friday morning. Everything went so smoothly! Our plane arrived 20 minutes early! The weather is beautiful. Yesterday we spent some time at the pool laying in the sun. Unfortunately, when we left I was at the end of my cold. I managed to pass it on to Seymen last night. My grandma took Seymen's temprature, and it turned out that he had a slight fever last night. But today he feels better.
Seymen finished some computer work for them, and we installed a wireless router today...so now they are fully connected as well as any visitors with wireless cards :-))
Tomorrow, we will drive across to the gulf coast, to spend sometime on the beach at my dad's house. It has been the most relaxing time :-) We've been sleeping until noon and just sitting around playing :-) This is the vacation that we definitely needed after spending the entire Christmas break and shutdown between Christmas and New Years, just working hard to unpack our house :-)
Ahhhh...and we still have 3 more full days enjoying 80 degree weather. I don't want to come home :) Tonight Grandma and I are going to see The Pursuit of Happiness. We have to rush home to see Desperate Housewives too (That's mine and Grandma's favorite show :-))

Sick
So last night I came home after work and felt really sick. So I made dinner and then promptly went to bed, accompanied by 2 nyquil and 1/3 tablet of turkish sudafed. I pretty quickly passed out...when I woke up this morning, I skipped the gym and stayed in bed and barely made it through a conference call with a client for work. When Seymen left me, I was sitting in bed with my laptop on my lap, sleeping. So, after my conference call, I dragged myself out of bed and into work. Once the drugs started wearing off, I wasn't so bad...
But...being the nice sweet boyfriend that he is, Seymen called to see if I was still at home sick because he had to stop home (for another appointment)...but anyway, when I got home from work, I walked into the bedroom and found this sweet picture :-)

It made just want to crawl into bed and go to sleep...Instead, I kept myself up, and changed into my gym clothes and joined Seymen and Jonny for our first Yoga Class. It was really fun, but hard! At one point I had to keep myself from laughing out loud and disturbing the class because Seymen had this completely pained expression on his face :-) But we all enjoyed the class and plan to go back for more painful stretching ;-)

Latest and Greatest Cleaning Tool
So Seymen and I purchased the Bissell Flip-It after we had the hardwood floors refinished.
Well I gave the flip-it a test run on the tile floor in the main entrance on Saturday morning. It's AMAZING! This is the BEST floor clearner! It is FAR superior to the Swiffer Wet-Jet!! (And that means alot coming from me, the #1 supporter of the Swiffer! ;-) Anyway, it's awesome. I LOVEEE the fact that it is a wet/dry vac with the flip of my wrist. And I have it say, although it's not powerful for carpets, if you are using it for what it's meant to be used for, it works awesome. It cleaned up all the little pieces of wallpaper paste that fell off the wall and plastered themselves to our front entrance floor. It quickly cleaned up the dirty foot prints!! and the BEST part is that I can use it on the hardwood floor TOOO :-) I LOVEEEEEEEe it and highly recommend it. (The solution also smells VERY nice, which is an added bonus).

Thank GOD!!! it's Friday!!
OMG, what a long drawn out short week!!! I'm soooo glad it's finally friday. I am EXHAUSTED! Between, not really having time to relax during the break, and coming back to work and the gym, I am ready to PASS OUT :-) But like a good little girl, I went to the gym every morning for an hour...and everynight promptly at 9:00PM (or as close to it as I can get) I find myself in bed and drifting off to sleep as I read my books.
So, anyway...I finished the first book that I started reading Tuesday at the gym, on Wednesday night. So, Thursday I hadn't had a chance to go shopping to buy some new books (with my awesome christmas presents - gift cards to Borders and Barnes and Noble!)...Anyway...I decided to start this book that my grandmother sent me: "Digging to America". It is about two families that are both adopting little girls from Korea. One family is a U.S. born, and bred family. The other is a family that is 1st and 2nd generation immigrants from Iran. It tells a story of how these two families, meet at the airport when their daughters arrive, and the difference between the two families...
I started reading it while I was on the treadmill. About 5 sentances into the book, I'm on the treadmill, crying, and frantically reading because I'm totally hooked...It's a really good book. It is also really close to home (since I am the little baby girl adopted from Korea)...but anyway, it is an excellent book so far.
