Early Thanksgiving Dinner with Friends

So, we had our 8th annual Early Thanksgiving Dinner with friends tonight. It was so much fun. A total success! On Saturday, Denise and I spent all day cooking the side dishes. Today, I woke up early and headed to Nate's...where I spent the day cooking the turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes, and watching TV. We planned it perfectly this year, so I wasn't tired at all. It was a relaxing day with Seymen and Nate.

Once everyone showed up it was alot of fun! We have about 17 people there (phew!! because our count yesterday was 35! Thank goodness people ditched ;-) because we had JUST enough chairs. We have so much food though...Seymen and I will be eating Thanksgiving dinner for the next two weeks!

Anyway, it was a great time. We had some special guests too...the Japanese guys from Fuji joined the party as well, for their first ever Thanksgiving dinner! After eating we sat around and had Karakoe night. Everyone's names were put in a hat and then Duos and Trios were chosen to go sing. Afterwards, we played this game called Celebraty, which was really fun, and FUNNYY. I am still laughing over the antics of everyone :-) We ended the night with a trumpet solo from Nate, and a potential tip from a friend that the cops were coming due to noise distrubance ;-) must have been the trumpet that three them off ;-) LOL

Anyway, now I am stuffed and ready for bed...but it was definitely a Early Thanksgiving History year because it was so much fun!!!

And of course, here's some pictures. (Check the side, photo section)
