Packing Again

So I'm leaving for Japan in 1 day! OMG! I think I'm about all packed. For some reason my suitcase is FULLL. When I went to Eurpoe over the summer, my suitcase was much emptier. It must be the gifts and the snacks that I have packed ;-) When my plane from LA landed on Friday evening, Seymen brought me over to my dad's house to rest and sleep until he finished working. I was talking to my dad about my upcoming trip to Japan. He gave me a lot of advice on how to deal with the Jetlag...including sleeping as much as I need to to get used to the time change...and to pack DVDs, books, and snacks because I'll most likely wake up at 2AM and be awake all night long ;-)

So, taking my dad's advice, I bought a bunch of little snacks...I also forgot that my hotel is right on the beach, and there's an indoor pool (that looks really gorgous from the pictures in the brochure!) so if I am completely intimidated by being in Japan alone, knowing no Japanese, I can always lounge by the water and get a TAN! :-)

That's being said, I don't plan on chickening out. I have done a ton of research and printed off tons of maps and tourist attractions to visit on my own. I'm so nervous but more excited than anything :-))

Anyway, I'm just sitting here thinking of anything else I might have forgotten. I just remembered that I have to print out my Japanese labels for Maki's Parent's scrapbook...and I need Seymen's MP3 Player so I can download and listen to my: "Learn Japanese - Learn the Basics CDs" on the airplane...and listen and memorize my speech for Maki's wedding. Tomorrow I'm going to my dad's to exchange some of my romance novels for some of Georgia's novels.
