It's HERE!!!!
Today is the last day before SHUTDOWN!!! WAHOOOOO!!! Everyone is so happy today. I think it's the happiest anyone ever is all year ;-) well I guess except for right before Christmas :-) Yeayyy!! And the even better part is that Seymen went in early so he could leave early today too!! Yeayyy!! Quality time with the Sey-doggg starts even EARLIER!!!

Peake's Grassy Butt Story
Ewwww, so you wanna hear a disgusting Peake story from the weekend??! (If you don't, just stop reading...for real)
OK, so Saturday I was babysitting my little buddy and having a "Beth and Buddy" day. I picked him up at home and we headed straight to my mom's for a day of fun in the sun. As usual, we decided to take the Peak-a-nator for a walk before going swimming. Unfortunately, my mom wasn't home yet, so we decided to head out on our own. (Usually, we walk the three of us and talk.) Anyway, we ran up to the top of the driveway and realized that we forgot the poop bag...so we had to head back down to get a bag...just in case...
Attempt #2. We headed back up the driveway again (not running this time because we were tired from climbing up it before). We made it to the next door neighbors yard when the Peak-a-nator decided to poop. Yuck. Welll...we sat there waiting, and then realized that it was all grassy and that it had gotten STUCK!! Halfway in and halfway out! (EWWWWWWWWWWW) So, me being the loving "sister to peake" that I am, I took the poop bag and tried to pull it out. (EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW). Well, it wouldn't come out...there was so much still coming out, and I was dry-heaving with my little buddy just standing their watching.
So, we headed back down the driveway again...me trying really hard not to throw up, and Peakers waddling down the driveway with her tail up. I made Seymen come out and finish pulling the grass out. It was sooooooo disgusting...I couldn't even look at Peake for 30 minutes without almost almost-throwing up. We eventaully took her little dog pool out and let her play in that so she would "clean off".
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...Aren't you glad that you read this story?!? :-) Bon Apetite!

Final Week!!
Only 1 week left @ work! WaHOOOO!! I can't wait! I don't want to do any work :-(( But we're all set! My mom got the last of the hotels in France and the rental car in Wales. I looked up the weather for a base reference of how to pack:

Maki's Wedding in Japan
This is where Maki's wedding reception in Japan will be!!! And where Seymen and I are going to stay!!! (And Maki's family, and Richard's family!) I'm soooooooo excited!!! It LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!! And I talked to Maki and she picked out three different pink Komonos for me. She took pictures and I get to choose which on I want!!!

Engagement Party
So this weekend was pretty fun filled. Friday night we celebrated Father's day with Bill. We went to Mr. Dominics and then watched Bill's father's day present (The Pink Panther) afterwards. I saw about 5 minutes before I passed out from exhaustion. Saturday we woke up, Seymen ran some errands while I sat in bed with my sister trying to wake her up so we could go eat breakfast. Saturday evening we headed out to Canastota for Colin and Katie's engagement party. It was really fun time. I of course had way too much to drink...but who could help it! Katie's parents have a house right on Oneida Lake. Her neighbor built his own Tiki bar, complete with the "Lake Monster", a homemmade strawberry daquori maker, (made with a garbage disposal to chop the ice). Three glasses of wine and 3 daquori's later...I was good to go. Seymen (the ever responsible one) was the DD for the night (thank god becuase I was in no position to drive). He said that I was passed out, snoring before we even hit the TollBooth in Onedia. hhehehee :-) Sunday was our day of rest. I slept all day long. I periodically got up and moved into my bedroom, watched a movie there, then moved into the living room, watched TV there, and then back into Seymen room, took a little nap....and so on...until 5PM when I decided I couldn't take the lazyness anymore. I ended up cooking dinner and working the rest of the night. I definitly needed to punish myself for being so lazy and work hard till bed time ;-) And now it's back to the grind on monday. I can't wait till next weekend when i can be lazy once again!!

Black and Blue Steak and Crab
So I went to my mailbox at work today and found a lovely surprise! Now that my project is coming to a close, the SME from two of my courses sent me a THANK YOU gift for the work that has been done on the project! I now have a gift card to Black and Blue Steak and Crab :-) Yummmmy!!! Now the question is...should I bring Seymen with me? Or should I bring an ID to share in the rewards of our labor? I'm thinking...I'll bring an ID ;-) Sorry Seymen!

Parlez-vous Francais?
Parlez-vous Francais? Je ne parle pas francais...BUT!! I'm learning!! Yesterday Seymen and I went to Borders so I could buy the book "Devil Wears Prada". I saw a movie trailer for the movie that is going to be coming out soon. I wanted to read the book before the movie comes out ;-) so I had to go buy it yesterday.
While we were there I bought a 3CD pack for "Learn French in Your Car" :-) While running errands, I made poor Seymen listen to the CD (and myself) speaking French. He was laughing at me when I had trouble with the pronunciation, but the good sport that he was, he would rewind the CD when I really couldn't imitate the lady. He even went through the car wash so we'd have longer time in the car :-)

Great Day, Great Night
Well, I had a pretty great day today. Jena and Trina both decided for sure that they are going to join my mom, step-dad, and I on our trip to Europe!!! They bought their plane tickets and their Chunnel tickets!!! I can't even believe that they are going to come!! WAHOOOO!!! I never thought they would be able to come! And they reserved tickets on the same flight so we're going to be able to fly together too!!
After work, Trina, Danielle, and I commenced the weekend with a happy hour at MEX. We started it off we were shortly thereafter joined by Jenn H, Chad, Shannon, and Dan from work, Dan's brother and sister-in-law. A little while later, Seymen, Jonny and Jiggy joined us too!! We had a great time, adn I had three applep-tinis. I was even still alive that I could stand...so we headed to Shiki for dinner where Danielle's boyfriend John met us. We ended up closing Shiki down! :-) On the drive home, I calculated that Trina, Danielle, and I had been out drinking almost as long as we were at work...about 7 hours. Man...that's hardcore. I'm so proud of us! Now I'm off to bed for the rest of the weekend to sleep off me work week!

My Little Buddy
So I was babysitting my little buddy yesterday after work. I brought him over to my apartment for the evening. He was sitting there watching Sponge Bob on TV when he turned to me and said:
Buddy: "Beth? Do you have a husband?"
Me: "Nope!"
Buddy: "Are you going to get married?
Me: "Someday"
Buddy: "Are you going to marry that guy?" (That is how he refers to Seymen)
Me: "Probably"
Buddy: "Well...I'm gonna marry Gabby. She's in my class at school...but you know what? If I married you, by the time we waited, you would be a GRANDMA!!"
Me (Laughing so hard I almost fell out of my seat): "What?!?!?! I'm not THATTTT old!!"

VACATION!!!
So it's finally REAL!!! We bought tickets last week for vacation! I'm going with my mom and Step-dad to London, Wales, and Paris for shutdown week!! WAHOOOO!!! We are going to spend 9 days in Europe for my break!! I'm so excited :-))) And relieved that I can LEAVE the COUNTRY for my break! It's WONDERFUL :-)) Now the only thing is, I won't want to come home ;-)
