Change of Plans

Hi!!!! :-))) I have GREAT NEWS!!!! Tonight Jennifer and I went out to dinner at this Persian resturant that she had a coupon for. It was DELICIOUS! It had delicious food, and it was very similar to Turkish food! :-) We had dolmas and beef kabobs. Anyway, afterwards we came over to my apartment so I could work on my scrapbook. Li-Wei brought us ice cream for dessert :-) (And gave Jennifer a ride home)...

Anyway...the good news is...Li-Wei invited me to Houston with them for the weekend, to spend it with his cousins! I'm so excited!!! :-) It was so nice of them to ask me to come! They are going to wait for me to get out of work at 3 (because we have early release due to the holiday) and then we'll head out as soon as I get home.

So I have to make this short because I have to go pack my stuff :-) But I'm so excited :-) We're going to two parties!! Seymen is so happy now too :-) I think he felt really bad that I didn't have any plans, and that we wern't going to be together. This is so gooood :-) Li-Wei and Jennifer are such good friends :-)))

OK...Goodnight!!!

Quick Hello

Hi, quick hello...I've been pretty busy the past two nights. Last night I had dinner with Jennifer and Li-Wei (hot dogs from Costco that they bought me) and then came home and worked on a presentation for work all night. Tonight I spent the evening at Elizabeth's while Jason and her father went to a basketball game. It was fun, we sat, talked, drank wine, and she showed me pictures of her honeymoon. (one of their cruise stops was in Turkey - Kushadasi and Istanbul) She also showed me her scrapbook :-)

Anyway, I'm really tired...and I haven't gotten anything done that I was planning to this week...so tomorrow I have to get down to business. Jennifer, Li-Wei and I are going to try out a Persian food resturant and then I'm going to Michaels to find some more stamps and order pictures online for Seymen's parent's scrapbook.

Oh yeah...I have an eye appt. tomorrow at 1:15 to get a perscription for contact lenses...Yipppeee :-) Thanks Chrissy! for the idea ;-)))

One more thing :-)

I thought of one more piece of good news that I almost forgot to tell you...I just realized that I have another day off in Feburary, for president's day, or something funky like that. Anyway, I'm thinking about making another appearance in Colorado then. We'll see...I'm gonna see what Seymen thinks tonight :-) And then I think I'll only go from Friday to Sunday and have all day monday off of work, at home :-) Then I can spend all day recooperating and hanging out with my Jennifer.

Reunion with Jennifer

I finally saw Jennifer again tonight! They just arrived from San Marcos at like 9 or 10. She called and stopped by after she unpacked...She wanted to see my Christmas presents, and when I showed her my Christmas present from Seymen -- The Salsa Dancing Outfit -- (He and Chrissy picked it out together) she was so excited! She offered to take the skirt for me until I feel comfortable enough with my salsa dancing to wear it to the clubs ;-) We're going to the mall tomorrow after work to go check out the sales...I have to get a pair of brown shoes to match the new skirt I bought with my christmas $$$ :-) I think once I do that, and maybe one more pair of new jeans, I'll have completed my wardrobe for Turkey!!! Then the only thing I have left to focus on is starting and FINISHING the scrapbook for his parents.

Anyway, I'm getting tired now...and I should go to bed and rest up so I can get to work early tomorrow and work through lunch so that I can leave early to see Jennifer :-D We briefly discussed me skipping work tomorrow so we could spend the DAY together, but then realized it was a bad idea. Especially since I'll be taking a whole week off for my trip to Turkey :-) I think Jennifer and I are both trying to spend as much time together this week and next before my family comes to visit...because I'll be pretty busy then and won't get to see her every night :-( And then right after they leave, I leave...and we're sad about that. I had to make her a special calander so she could see my travel dates and see how much time we had to spend together ;-)

OK...I'm going for real now. Good night!

Back in Texas

Well I just barely made it back home to Texas...unfortunately, my bags were not so lucky. They are stuck somewhere in Chicago...arriving on the first flight in the morning. (I'm jelouse...I wanted to get stuck in Chicago so I could go to bed early, and wake up refreshed.) Unfortunately, that was not the case. I made my flight by five minutes and now here I am, back in Texas...in my cold apartment, at 1AM :-) But I do have to say...it was so nice to come home and have 40 degree weather. I miss Rochester and my family etc...but I CERTAINLY do not miss the cold. I sware to god I thought I was going to die this past week! It was SOOOO cold! I guess my clothes are not as thick as they used to be!

But the good fun news is!!! Seymen bought me a NEW puffy green jacket for christmas! And a leather jacket! ($40 for the puffy, $60 for the leather! What a deal!!) We went shopping today for clothes for me for our trip to Turkey with my Christmas gift certs., and found great deals EVERYWHERE!!! So for my shopping spree from Seymen, he bought me the jackets. They are so cute :-) And the green one is with me! It served as a NICE WARM blanket on the airplane :-) and it's so cute looking :-)

Anyway, I'm uploading pictures now for Seymen to print so I can make a scrapbook this weekend. Since I'm going to be alone in Texas, I am hoping to receive the pictures before Friday so Friday night I can work on that and not be sad that I'm all alone here...without Seymen :-((( (But don't worry...I'm just being a baby. He's leaving for Turkey the weekend after new years, and my mom, grandparents, aunt and baby cousin will be here that same weekend...Then I'll be leaving for Turkey the following weekend...so I have NOTHING to complain about :-) And Seymen just confirmed with me, that he'll come to visit me in Texas on the weekened of Feb. 11-13 for early Valentine's day. (He keeps calling it lovers day because he doesn't remember the name hehehehe)

OK I guess I need to stop procrastinating since it's 1:27am and I have to be at work tomorrow by 7:30am. Good night!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Hi!!!! I hope you all had a great Christmas! I certainly did! Christmas this year just kept going and going and going! :-) But we had an AWESOME time in Skeneatlas (spelling? --For some reason I keep calling it Skanectity --spelling?)!!! Seymen and Jake were forced to get pedicures. They threatened to drive a seperate car so they could escape --because Georgia kept telling them that they were getting waxes...in unpleasent places...But they didn't leave us, and endured the pedicures (They were both surprisingly pleased with the outcome as well!) We then had a night full of eating...a 7 course meal (5 with 2 chef specials). We were so full that Seymen and I missed out on Monopoly night, because we couldn't walk upstairs from being so full.

Anyway, we spent Christmas Eve day with Dad and Georgia, doing the traditional dinner, and Baklava making. We left at 9 to go to mom's for midnight mass, and Christmas eve night with mom. It was actually really nice mass, with beautiful music. Jake came with us this year too, so that was fun and different. (Still haven't convinced Seymen to give it a try.) He was back at mom's by the time we made it home, and we all went to bed. This morning we slept in and prepared breakfast, opened presents, ate breakfast, opened more presents with Leslie and Derek, watched I-Robot (GREAT MOVIEEEE!!), prepared dinner, opened more presents with Jake, ate dessert, then I got sick to my stomache, so I went upstairs and slept a little.

Now I'm at the apartment, doing laundry and packing to go home. :-((( Seymen and I are also getting our stuff together (presents for his parents, voltage converted...etc) for our trip to Turkey in 2-3 weeks!!! Seymen heard from his dad and he's officially leaving on the 7th, and will pick me up in Istanbul on the 14th when I arrive. I'm so excited!!! Tomorrow, we're going shopping for more presents for his parents, and to use my Christmas Gift Certificates :-)

Anyway...I gotta run, we're going to watch Shrek 2 while we wait for my laundry to be done :-) Goodnight!!

Home in Rochester

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm home in Rochester! Since I as too tired and had a horrible headache last night, I am without a car, I had to go into work with Seymen this morning. I'm not allowed to talk to Seymen or anyone else in the room (because supposedly I'm too "high maintenance and need too much entertaining). So, I at least I have a computer to use, and I am going to just sit here and write in my blog and play games until it's time to leave. (And I'm not going to say one word to Seymen at all, because he's so mean to me today).

Anyway, I got into Rochester at 12AM on Tuesday night. Maki and Seymen came to pick me up and we went directly to Jay's so I could eat dinner. By the time we got home and to bed, it was 2AM. At 5AM, I woke up and had to drive Maki to the airport :-((((((( because she went to Japan for Christmas and New Years. It was so sad, bringing Maki to the airport...So afterwards, I went back to the apartment, and tried to go back to sleep. It took me forever, and by the time I fell asleep, it was time to get up and over to my mom's for Christmas Present Wrapping Day!!!

My sister and I spent the morning together, wrapping presents and catching up. At 1 I met Seymen, Thaun, Chau, and Nate for lunch and then kiddnapped Chau and went shopping til 5! :-) My mom had an "International" dinner with her students and faculty from Brockport last night, that Seymen and I were "required" to attend. Seymen somehow convinced Thuan and Chau to join us :-) It was fun, but kind of boring because Seymen and crew showed up two hours late. As soon as they walked down the driveway, Chrissy ditched out and left.

So now this morning, I'm here sitting in the conference room with Seymen, Thaun, and Josh...waiting for Seymen to be done working so we can start his VACATION!!!:-) At 12, we're all meeting at my dad's house, and heading to Skentectaty (I have no idea how to spell that) for our Christmas with dad and Georiga. According to Georgia, we all have seperate cottages, and Spa treatments beginning at 2pm today...(Should be interesting, espeically since Jake and Seymen refuse to get anything other than a Massage, and Georgia has done all the booking herself, and won't tell us what she chose).

Last night, when we were at my mom's...Seymen was checking out his presents under the Christmas tree, and the DORK started shaking and touching all my presents to him. Basically, he guessed almost all of the presents correctly. I tried to pretend that he was wrong, but he can always tell when I'm lying, so he totally knew that he was right. Anyway, I think he's really excited for the Dog-Monopoly game :-) (And I was pretty pissed that he guessed it RIGHT AWAY) Anyway, it's OK I guess because we were thinking about giving it to him today, so we can play tonight :-)

OK, so I'm going to finish this, because I keep hitting the mini-trackball on the keyboard, and think that I've lost everything that I've written...

So I hope you all have a great Christmas!!!! BYEEEE

Heading Out

Hi ya'll...Just a quick post to let you all know I'm heading home (again) for the holidays. I had a nice evening with Jennifer and Li-Wei, hanging out, eating dinner and ice cream :-) I'm all packed up finally! (1 rolly bag, 1 duffel, and a backpack later...I just might make it home with all my gifts).

So just a quick cute Jennifer story :-): Tonight we were sitting around her kitchen table, writing out our schedules from now until the end of January, to see how much time we had together...We started talking about my upcoming trip to Turkey. I started getting nervouse, and asked Jennifer: "What happens if I forget, and sware in front of Seymen's parents?!?! What I say the "F" word?!?!" Jennifer responded: "Don't worry Beth! You won't say the F word! Because you won't be driving! You know you turn into a whole different person when you are driving...Go-Fucker-GOOO!" hehehehe...It was so funny, I almost died. I've been teaching Jennifer how to sware naturally, and in the car, is usually where she gets the best lesson ;-) And occasionally, she'll break out with a GO-FUCKER!-GOO! It's so cute :-) But we have to say it really quietly when Li-Wei is around, because I don't want him to know I'm teaching her bad words ;-)

Anyway...I'm gonna go. I have 9 DVDs to burn for my sister before I go to bed....Damn myself...I wish I had remember to do it over the weekend when I was at home! With tons of time on my hands!! Ohh well...1 almost down (80%)...8 more to go. (Yes, it's 11:22pm.)

I hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!! I'll write again when I come back on the 26th!

1st Texas Christmas!

This weekend was SO NICE! It's the first weekend that I've spent alone in Texas in a few weeks! (Since before Thanksgiving I think). It was pretty busy even though my Turkish class was cancelled. Friday I spent the evening with Jennifer and Li-Wei...Saturday, I worked on the scrapbooking all day, until 3:45. I met up with Tracy, Ozan, Izel, and their friend Shawn for our "Christmas" lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It was sooo nice!!! It was warm enough that we could sit outside! They have heat lamps that they turned on so it was warmer, but it was so enjoyable! The weather was perfect, Christmas music in the background, and then a Santa on a motorcycle drove by carting two coco-colored lab dogs, that were wearing reindeer antlers and sunglasses! It was sooo cute! It also turns out that their friend Shawn and his wife are from "Up North" so we had lots of discussion about the difference in winters here :-) It's always funny meeting a "fellow Northerner"...It's like a special bond. Even if you have nothing else in common, once you hear that someone is from the North, there's automatic conversation :-)

Tonight we just finished our 1st Texas Christmas night! Jennifer, Li-Wei, Thuc, and I went out to dinner at Chedders (the new one just opened up on 183 right near our apartment), and then we came back to my apartment for Christmas Tree cake and present opening! :-) It was sooo fun!!! We had the Christmas Alter lights on (that's what I'm using instead of a tree because I left my little fake tree at home in Rochester. So Jennifer and I decorated my fake pine needles with lights and red bulbs and put it on the hunt table :-) ) So anyway...we turned on the Sounds of the Season on the digital music TV station, and put the presents in front of the fire place and had our 1st Texas Christmas (Well...this is Thuc's like 10th Texas Christmas...but that's OK.), and this was Jennifer and Li-Wei's VERY FIRST Christmas EVER!!! So it was special :-) And Li-Wei specifically requested Christmas cake instead of Christmas cookies :-))) So I made a Christmas Tree Cake! Just for him! :-)

Thuc had to leave before Jennifer and Li-Wei, to go visit a friend, and after he left, we sat at my kitchen table, and talked about how great our friendship is and how happy we all are :-) And we decided that from now on, I'm just going to eat dinner over at their house every night :-) Li-Wei told me that he really likes it when I come over, because he can rest ;-) and watch whatever he wants to on TV :-)))) (Doesn't that sound so much like Seymen???) Sooo...tomorrow night I'm going over for dinner, and for dessert we're going to have CHristmas Tree cake :-) (Not that it's any different because I was over there every night last week for dinner ;-)

Anyway, it was so fun. We all laughed and such a nice Christmas :-)
Here are the pictures from my camera: CLICK HERE TO SEE PICTURES

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

P.S. (I'm going home in TWO DAYS!!! I can't wait!!! And we finally made a plan with my dad...He's taking us all to a spa for the night in Skinnyatles!!!)

FULL HOUSE!!

I just received word! My Aunt Karen and cousin Takoda are coming to Austin too when Grandma and Grandpa, and Mom are here! We're having a mini-family reunion right here in Texas. Our cousin Brian and his wife might drive from Houston and meet us in San Antonio for a total reunion! :-) I'm so excited. It'll definitly be something to look for. Especially since Seymen and I will both be stuck in our respective "home towns" for New Years the weekend before (good planning on our part ;-) But now I really have something to look forward too...That and my trip to Turkey which will occur 2 days after everyone leaves Austin :-)

I need to do some major planning for Feburary, otherwise I feel like I may be sadly let down after all this travelling and visitors and busy-ness! Anyway, I'm off to bed. Jen and I are going to Walmart at 8am to buy some supplies for scrapbooking...and I'm picking up my pics @ 10 :-) Yipppeee!!!

So Closeee! But Yet So Far!

I am so close to being finished Christmas shopping. This weekend is dedicated to celebrating Christmas with my friends in Texas before I leave for home, and completing some MAJOR Christmas Gift Crafts. I'm dedicating all day Saturday and during the day Sunday to scrapbooking. Today after work, I'm going to stop by Stephanie's house so I can see the toys and tools she has, and borrow so I can make cool things :-) We'll see how it all turns out :-)

Today has been so freaky. This morning traffic was totally NON-EXISTANT! It was awesome. I left my house late -- 7:10am, and I made it to work so FAST! I was at my desk at 7:34am!! I received my first bonus (in my life) at work today too...so that was good. Oh and I was able to print three DVD covers for the DVDs I burned last night.

Other than that...we went to a long lunch (by accident - Traffic was so bad we had to try to take all these "short cuts" that took as long as waiting in traffic)...I'm going to Tracy and Ozan's for a visit tonight, and to exchange gifts. Saturday night is my boss's birthday party, and Sunday is Christmas Dinner and gift exchange with Jennifer, Li-Wei, and Thuck. Then it's just monday and Tuesday and off to HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!! YIPPPPEEEE! I can't wait!!! :-)

Exactly One Month from Today...

...I will be on my way to TURKEY!!! We were eating dinner at I realized that this time in one month, I'll have been on the airplane to Turkey for 8 hours! :-)))) (hopefully...I'm still holding my breath about it...I think I've about learned my lesson to not hold my breath after 6 years)

So anyway, yesterday was a pretty tough day. We woke up early and Seymen took me to the airport. I flew into Austin and went straight to work for the rest of the day. I went to Jennifer and Li-Wei's for dinner, and then went home and fell asleep at 9. Seymen called at 11, so I woke up (really cranky). He was pretty cranky too because he was so tired, and had to go to the dentist for a toothache. Come to find out, he needs to get a root canal tomorrow. So needless to say, we were two unhappy campers last night trying to talk on the phone. I ended up stay up until 2:30am reading a book to get myself out of my funk. The good news was that I read an entire book in two hours...the bad news, I was WICKED tired at work today :-) But I made it in by 7am, worked through lunch and stayed late, so now I only have 2-3 hours to make up for my half day monday.

When I got home, Jennifer came and picked me up to go grocery shopping, and then she and Li-Wei came over dinner. We were still there eating and talking for 2.5 hours!! And then we realized it was 9:15! But it was such a nice night :-) I think they liked dinner too because there's no chicken nor cesear salad left! Here's some pictures from dinner :-)

Shuckey-Darn

Well...I am "stuck" in Rochester for the night. My planes from Rochester to Austin was delayed/cancelled so I have to wait until tomorrow morning to fly out. I'm sooo dissapointed ;-) (Not really! I wasn't ready to go back to Texas anyway!)

Last night was soooooooo fun. We had a GREATTT day and night. Let's see...I woke up at my mom's at 9:30am, and hung out with my step-dad while Chrissy and Seymen slept until 12:30pm. I cooked my two dishes for Thanksgiving dinner, and then Seymen woke up (FINALLY) so we could go to Fuji and print out the pictures from the Dude Ranch and Florida. Next we went to the Hylan place apartment so Seymen could pick out clothes for the party and shower. (Meanwhile, I was FINALLY able to play the new SIMs game for gamecube, that Seymen bought me in FL). We were then of course late for Thanksgiving dinner, so we had to rush to meet Maki and get to my moms. PRetty much we finished eating dinner in about 20 mins! It was soooooooooo good, and felt just like Thanksgiving, but better because we knew that we were all going to be together again for Christmas in like 9 days!!!

We were supposed to decorate the Christmas tree after we ate, but Maki and I became distracted "decorating ourselves" for the party, and my mom and CHrissy became our fashion coordinators :-) We arrived at the party fashionably late, right as the dinner was ending, so hung out there for a few hours (Untill 11pm). We had to drop Maki off at home, because she had three to many sex on the beaches...Somehow word got out at the party that we HAD to go to BugJar, and by the end, people were coming up to me and Seymen, telling us we had to go there. The funny thing about it was, that I started that rumor when we arrived because my LMNK friends were going to be there!

Anyway, we finally made it there, and met up with the LMNK group and the Fuji group. We all hung out, drank, had a great time...Oh yeah, and Carrie and I went to the bathroom in the mens room by accident. We realized when a guy who followed us in started peeing in the urnal. That was fun. Seymen and the rest of Fuji people went to Karma/BarFly, and let me with my friends. I hitched a ride to Old toad, to visit Alex, and Seymen walked over to come pick me. By then, I could barely stand up straight...Actually, I couldn't walk by myself...but I made it into Karma in time to see Lisa and Joni (I went to AQ H.S. with Lisa) hanging out with some friends. I have no idea what I said to them...but it was still AWESOME to see them!

Seymen and his friends finally dragged me back to the car, and we headed to the 24-hour diner in Henerietta where, low and behold! I ran into Leslie and Emily (Fellow LMNKers) eating there after the bar too! It was so weird. And I pretty much invited myself to their table and sat with them :-) (Yes...I did alot of ditching Seymen last night--I'm so mean) IN the end, I passed out in the car when we were dropping people off, and Seymen reported that I was indeed snoring a little on the ride. It was like 4AM before we got home!!!

Anyway...now I'm at my old apartment, in my PJs, at Seymen's computer...just like old times. It feels so nice to be home! I want to come back! And rumor has it, a few people want me to come home too!!! Supposedly, Seymen reported that he and my old boss Keith had a little chat about me moving back home. Actually, alot of people this weekend had little chats with Keith about me coming home ;-)

Sooo anyway...that's the report of the party night. I was so looking forward to last night, and it turned out to be better than ever. I had the best time, and I was so drunk, but I didn't hookie, or even feel like hookieing all night (or all morning today).

Oh yeah, I did have a little one-on-one talk with my step-mom today--who was trying to convince me to quit my job in TX and move home this week-- who gave me one piece of advice that I probably should have listened to 4 months ago...(I am still glad I didn't but it does sum up nicely what I suppose I feel deep down inside): "You don't have to move 1000's of miles away to prove to Seymen or anyone else that you are an independent person and capable of anything you set your mind to." It was so deep! And the two of us looked at each other and broke into laughter, because it had a ring of truth to it, yet seems so logical and rediculious ;-)

One last thing to say before I go to play game cube...This weekend has totally focused on discussions of me moving back to Rochester. But I have to say that I do love Texas and my friends and life there. I was telling Seymen, that I am completely fine living there, and having a great time as long as I don't come home, and as long as I don't have anyone come visit me! Then I would never get sad, or feel a pull to move home :-) But we then decided that wasn't realistic, becuase I totally get through everyday day-to-day life knowing that every two weeks-to a month, I'll be seeing my honey. So...there's some food for thought. (And don't worry my Texas buddies...I'm not going anywhere yet...I love my apartment too much to leave right away ;-)

I'm a real cowgirl now

Hi Ya'll :-) I'm back in Austin (temporarily). We had a greaaatt time at the dude ranch...and this afternoon we went horse back riding. Here's some pics from the event :-)

Me and my horse "Pumpkin" Pronounced: "Pun-kin'" (Oh yes, and I learned that I have a "City girl Yeee-Hawww" Not quite Texas yet...I have to practice :-):

My team: (Left to right: Shelly, Me, My boss Kristina, Erin, Stephanie, Jeff)

It really was a great time. We arrived in the morning on Wednesday, and spent the day in meetings until dinner time. Afterwards, we were able to check into our rooms, and unload the vans :-). We then had drink fest in Mary and Kristina's room (Our manager's)...Later we headed to the fire pit for some marshmellow roasting, and all the girls trying to scare the crap out of me with Ghost stories :-) Once we were too cold to stay outside, we went back to the meeting room and had two raunchy games of group pictionary. (Which was interesting with half the participants wasted...hehehe...and surprisingly, I wasn't one of them).

When Steph and I finally headed to our room around midnight, we found out that our heater had broken. Instead of calling anyone, we just went to bed and figured it wouldn't be so bad. In the morning, we realized just how FREAKING cold it gets in Hill Country (I'm sure I won't get any sympathy from any Rochester peeps, but I had a to try! ;-) Anyway, in the morning, we bombarded Shelly and Erin's room for some heat :-) We had our morning meetings, then free time where we sat in the sun and played cards. After lunch, we went horseback riding, then on a hay ride, and then headed home to Austin. The days were totally packed, and we did enjoy ourselves, and really bonded with the training team.

So now I"m at home, my bags have been unpacked, and then repacked for my trip to Rochester. Jennifer came over to inspect my outfit for the Christmas party this weekend. Seymen and his friends have rented a limo...and not just any limo, but a HUMMER LIMO!! :-) So that'll be fun! And then we'll be going out downtown after the party. Oh yeah, and I talked to my dad tonight, and it turns out that tomorrow he will be playing the Jewish Santa Claus, for the Children's Family CHristmas party during the day. What a sight to see...

But anyway, I can't wait to get home and see my family. Chrissy, Jake, Seymen, Maki and I are going to Shiki for dinner tomorrow night. I CAN'T WAIT! It's been since JULY that I've had Japanese food :-) And Mochie Balls! YUMMMMMMYYYY...

Anyway, I have to go to bed...Tomorrow I've been volunteered to pick up the doughnuts for the team...so I have to get an early start. Good thing everything's packed, and I picked out my clothes tonight :-) So I'll write again when I get back from ROchester. Have a great weekend everyone!:-)

SURPRISE!!

I have a cousin in HOUSTON!! I was laying on the couch, watching the Nanny reunion and my cell phone rang. I didn't see the number but it said that it was from Texas, so I answered thinking it was Jennifer...and I was surprised when it was a guy, and he said he was my cousin! and that he lives in Houston! And then he was so nice and invited me to come for Christmas! (At this point I still didn't know what side of my family he was on either!) So we chatted, and about halfway through the conversation, he mentioned that he heard my Grandparents were coming to Austin to visit (at this point, I realized which side of my family he was from)...So I invited him to come to San Antonio to meet us! hehehe :-) He was so nice!!! And he invited me to come visit them whever, if I get bored or anything I should give them a call! And in the summer they have a boat so they can take me out on the water and go water skiing or tubing :-)

Anyway, I'm really excited. All my friends here have cousins in Dallas or Houston, and now I have on too! How exciting :-) Anyway...I'm going to call Jennifer and tell her that I have a cousin in Houston :-)))

Christmas In Texas!

Tonight I went with Jennifer to meet her friends from Chruch. They took us to Central Market for dinner, and then to the Capital for Christmas Caroling and the lighting of the Christmas tree :-)

Afterwards, we came back to my apartment and decorated the apartment for Christmas, and sat with a "fire" listening to Christmas music and talking :-)

And here's us just being silly :-)

Poor Bradley

After work today, I decided to treat myself to dinner to go at Tuscany. Seymen and I went there twice when he was visiting, and we made friends with the Salad/Sandwhich maker - Bradley. He was really nice and friendly. Turns out he lives at RIATA too, and is going to school during the day (Chef School) and working at Tuscany at night. (For those of you who don't know what Tuscany is, it is a resturant/grocery store located inside the RIATA apartment "campus" if you will.

Anyway, I was kind of sad to go back, because the last time I went it was with Seymen...but I bucked up and went, and was happily in luck that Bradley was working. We started chatting, and he told me that he had a really rough night last night. He's had this bad cough, so he can't talk, and supposedly last night it was so bad, he coughed so hard, that he tore the muscles between his ribs! He was at work, and he ended driving HIMSELF to the hospital and then home again at 6AM this morning :-((( Pooor Bradleyyyy :-((

Anyway...I'm in heaven right now...Before I stopped to get my salad, I stopped at HEB and got some anbasol for my caker sore...I seriously thought I was going to die of pain today...plus with the aftermath of my cold/fever.

But I gotta go...This week they are having holiday moves every night on Lifetime TV, and my show is back on :-) Good Night!!
