Love from LMNK

This is from a Yahoo Message from Jeff:
Hi Beth.
Question for you: They're thinking of filling your old cube. We thought we'd run it by you first, though. (because Sharon and Jenn want to use your objection)
so let us know.

AWwwwwwwww...They are so sweet :-)

Diverse Austin!

Well tonight was a good night! My order finally went through and I was able to set up my new e-mail address at bopsbeth.com, and change web servers. It's so nice to actually be able to send e-mail from outlook again (I was having problems with the firstclass outgoing server from RIT)...Anyway, I'm all set up and the blog will be running from bopsbeth.com within 96 hours :-)

I also cleaned my apartment, and finally put away all my arts and crafts. Then I went to Salsa class, where our teacher switched it up and taught Marangue instead of Salsa. It was fun, and much easier than salsa because it's just a box step...And I was glad because my usual partner Thuc (I learned how to spell it for real tonight --but it's pronounced Tuck) was back. I also made another new friend. Her name is Jennier and she just moved to Austin from Taiwan. SHe and her husbend live at RIATA, and she told me that she has no friends :-) So naturally I gave her my number, and she might come and meet Maki this weekend. She used to study Japanease and was really excited when I told her my Japanese friend was coming :-) After class, I hung out with Thuc, and this girl Nisha who started the same day that I did, and Able. We were just talking and goofing off :-) Nisha and I were explaining to Thuc and Able how we think that the girls should be allowed to lead, and it should be more equal :-) We then demonstrated how WE WOULD lead the guys and throw them into spins and what not :-) I really like...She's in with the whole Independent Women thing :-) I think poor Thuc and Able were a bit intimadated when we all said goodbye ;-)

I was just talking to my mom, and telling her about all my new friends, and she pointed out that it was so funny, that I was making friends with all these international people! So far from my salsa class I've meet Alex--who is Lebanse (spelling?) and Palastinian, Nisha--Indian, Thuc--Vietnamese, Jennifer--Taiwanese, and Able --Mexican...Oh and then of course, Tracy and Ozan--Turkish!

Anyway...I have to go shower and get to bed. Today was a rough day for me. When I got in the morning, I was so tired and I was soooo anti reviewing some documents, that I put my head in my arms on my desk in exhasparation...and when I looked up my boss was at my cube! SHe was so worried and was like: Are you OK?!?! Do you need to go home?! Are you sick!?!? I didn't want to tell her that I was just hung over ;-) so I told her that my eyes hurt...and they really did...It's just that so did my head, and my stomache...hehehee

Dooo bee dooo bee dooooo

There's only 2 more days until Maki is going to be here!! I'm so excited. I can't wait to see her. We had a huge long talk on monday night over the phone, in a kind of preparation for the upcoming Girls Weekend in TEXAS!! :-) The best thing about Maki is that we can just talk and talk and talk all weekend long if we have the opportunity. When we drove up to New Hampshire or Boston together to go visit Erin or other friends, we would talk for 7.5 hours straight. We wouldn't even turn on the radio :-) One time Maki was so busy talking that we got into a little accident...And another time she was driving and we were pulled over by a cop :-) Ohh and another time, when we lived in NH, she hit some animal on the road :-) LOL...I can't stop laughing now that I'm thinking about that night...

Anyway, she sounds sooooooo excited. Here's an excerpt from her e-mail to me:
HEY BETH!!

That's totally cool! I get to see your friends in Texas and the fabulous restaurant! I wouldn't MISS IT ;-)
I can't wait to go to Texas!!!! in how many days? ONLY in 2222222222222222222222 days!!!
Getting very anxious here. Is there anything you want from Rochester? Wagmans's coke? I am going to pick up a book so that I can read in the plane.

(I had to cut some of the e-mail out, because then it would ruin some Christmas present surprises that we are planning on working on this weekend :-)

Anyway, the plan so far is that we're going out to the Salt Lick for a going away party for Tracy's friend, Tracy --Who I became friends with last Saturday at Izel's birthday party-- who is moving to Jacksonville, FL in the next week or two. It's supposed to be excellent BBQ, and I haven't tried the ORIGINAL yet. Seymen, Jake, Chrissy and I went to the one that is right near my apt. but supposedly, that's the Ritzy one, and not anything like the original.

Anyway...Tonight is Salsa night, and cleaning my apartment...Picking up all my "arts and crafts supplies" that I have been storing on my kitchen table....Thursday night Tracy is coming over to study for Turkish and then FRIDAY MAKI WILL BE HERE :-) YIIIPPPEEE :-)

Salsa Mainia!!!

GOOD NEWS!!! I MADE A NEW FRIEND TODAY!!!! I went to my salsa dance class tonight, and my regular partner, Tuck, wasn't there...There were 3 girls and 6 guys, so the girls rotated around the room dancing...One of the guys, Alex, has been in the class since I started. Anyway, he and I were chatting while the teacher was talking, and it turns out he just moved to AUstin, from Houston, two months ago!!!! He said he had no friends here or anything, and that's why he started taking the salsa classes. Anyway, I had to concure (even though I do have friends here, and the number is surprisingly growing)...Anyway, he moved about 2 months ago, just like me! We were so excited, and decided to get together this friday night and go to the Speakeasy, which is a bar downtown, where they have Salsa music at night!!! So!! I have plans! And then I found out after class that they have monday night classes (which I will be joining next week) and next Tuesday is a group party, where we all get together and dance. And tomorrow night is a practice night at a bar downtown. (I don't know if I can go to that, because Tracy and I are supposed to study turkish, but if she cancel's then I'll be going downtown :-) Anyway, I'm so excited! And I have tons of plans now! And I have a new friend!! And I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE Salsa dance classs!!! And now I have to go e-mail my step-brother a couple cookie recipie, because his roommate has been experimenting without a recipie :-) Adios Amigos!!!!!!!

Chuggin Along

Well I had a really nice weekend in Texas. I was really busy on Saturday which was really nice. I went to the Lowes workshop on how to lay ceramic tile, which was fun and interesting. Then I went to Turkish class, where Tracy and I wow'ed our Turkish teacher. He actually told us that he was impressed with how well we did :-) It's all thanks to Ozan for helping us study on Thursday night. Afterwards, I headed out to Elgin and met Nate's parents who were visiting Nate and Heidi for the week. We went to see the bats, and then had dinner and drinks down on 6th street. Oh yeah, and I finally found EMOS, that Jeff from LMNK had told me about.

Sunday, I did the ritual stuff...Grocery shopping, laundry, Sims 2, read a book...same old same old. I'm on another shopping freeze. I allowed myself to start shopping again this friday, and used up my quota in one day at the scrapbook store. But at least I have enough supplies to make my personal album, and an album for my grandparents for Christmas. Unfortunately, I didn't save enough to buy myself some practical dancing shoes for class on Wednesday. Last week I got in a little trouble for going to class with flip flops on :-) My teacher told me I better come to class with a pair of good leather soled shoes...So this week we're going to try out the heels...All I have are my high heeled work shoes, that are probably too high, and my legs will probably fall off...but it'll be worth it to do the FUN SPINS!!! (Those are my favorite, except when I get dizzy, because my teacher is using me as an example and making us do the spins like 5 times in a row...hehehe)

I had a bit of sad news today. I received an e-mail from RIT. They are retiring my RIT e-mail account. Pretty soon they are going to disable EKB2747. It is a sad day for me, because I'm truely realizing that I'm no longer in college. And I'm no longer an RIT student...and now I have to PAY for my e-mail address and webspace. But don't worry. Bopsbeth.com will still be alive and kickin. Seymen and I are doing some comparison shopping for web hosting...and my domain name company will give me an e-mail address. (I'm thinking: beth@bopsbeth.com) but we'll see. Something amazing might hit me between now and then. I'll definitly keep you posted.

Which reminds me...I guess I need to take all my stuff down from my RIT webspace...Damn the man. I'm so sad :-((( Anyway...don't worry...I'll be OK. I guess it's time to move on from EKB2747.

Let's see...Seymen and I were talking last night and started discussing our vacation plans for next year. Seymen wanted to go to Hawaii (for real this time...not just talk about it)...but I looked at prices and it's way too expensive...Even for our paychecks ;-) <--That was a bad joke...I know...Anyway, I'm thinking HONG KONG...Or THAILAND...They have some really awesome Airfare, Hotel, and Transfers Inclusive deals online. There's a 6-8 day trip to Hong Kong and Tokyo. Maki thinks we should do that one :-) And of course, it would be even better because we have friends in Hong Kong and Bangkok, but we could also go to Malta, which is west of the most southern tip of the boot of Italy, for wicked cheap tooo!!!! OR we could just go to Turkey :-) So many choices! Some many places to GOOO!! The GOOD news is!!! This site offers AWESOMEEEEEEEEEE -- and I mean AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE deals for Turkey for my family to come visit me, when we move there ;-)

Power Tools and Women

I just went to lunch with Shelly from work today, and guess what!!! SHE LIKES POWER TOOLS TOO :-) We spent the lunch hour comparing Drill and Chainsaw stories :-) Anyway, I'm so excited. Tomorrow, Shelly, her boyfriend Jamie, and I are going to Lowes for a ceramic tile workshop on how to do it yourself. I'm VERY Excited! And she said in November, I can come over and we can chainsaw some trees in her backyard...YIPPPE :-)) HOW FUNNNN!!!!!

Cold Front in Texas

We had a cold front today. The high was in the low 70's. I do have to admit that I was pretty chilly today. I might be turining into a Texan...I don't know. ;-)

Anyway, today was a pretty exciting day! During my lunch break I went to the Memory Depot Store right near my work, so I could buy some scrapbooking materials. My cutters from Ebay came in the mail yesterday, so I wanted to get a new album and some stamps to enhance my scrapbooking expierence :-). I ended up finding some cool alphabet stamps, cards so I can make my own homemade cards, and these cute 3D stickers with a Texas theme, and another package with an Arizona Theme. I can officially start scapbooking our Grand Canyon trip, and start my Life in Texas book! :-)

When I was at the check out, I met this lady who was in visiting the girls that work at the store...She was really friendly, so we started talking and I told her how I was new to scrapbooking and new to Texas, and she insisted that I sign up for some of the classes that they offer at the store! She was so nice, and so excited, and she kept saying she was so glad that she met me, and I needed to take these classes with her, and to join the Die Cutters Club. It's so neat. I'm so excited! I went back to work and talked to Stephanie, and she sounded REALLY interested! It's $18 for a full year. You meet the first wednesday of every month, and they teach you something. Then you can come in anytime throughout the month and use their die cutting machine for free. You just have to provide yourself your own paper. Then there's this Cards that Glitter and Shine class on November 4th, that I want to take. You make homemade cards with glitter and do Glitter embossments. Anyway it sounds AWESOME. I'm so psyched.

Tonight for dinner, I went to Tracy and Ozan's to eat and study turkish. It went really well. Tracy and I flew through our homework, and spent the rest of the night quizzing each other, trying to ask questions and answer back and forth. (Which is hard for two people that know barely anything). Once Izel fell asleep, Ozan sat with us for the last hour or so, and quizzed us in Turkish too. It was awesome. He told us that he was surprised, because he didn't think we were as far along as we were! :-) And of course I made him say: "Cok Iyi Beth! Cok Iyi Tracy" all night long ;-)

I also did a little research, because I love my Salsa dance lessons so much...and found out that there's a dance studio right near my apartment, where you can buy a month long memebership for really cheap and go to Unlimited Group classes. They have salsa, marengue, swing, tengo, country two step, all sorts of dances. If I did that in addition to my Salsa lessons, Turkish lessons, Turkish Study sessions, and Scrapbooking/Card making lessons, then I'd have enough stuff going on every night of the week and weekend, that I wouldn't have time to be lonely! And to be honest, this week I haven't felt lonely at all. I've been busy all week and I absolutly love it! :-))))

Time marches on

Well the week has been moving pretty quickly for me, since I returned home from Rochester! Work has been really busy, and I spent all night last night trying to finialize this project I'm working on. Tonight I'm going to Salsa dance class (in 15 minutes). I talked to Tracy today and we have planned for dinner and turkish studying tomorrow night at her place.

Today was a great night for talking to people. Erin called and we had a great catch up talk :-) My mom called, Tracy called, and the RAC Gym called me from Rochester. It was lovely! Unfortunately, I haven't had the time or energy to clean up my apartment since I came home. Last night I was scrambling around trying to get my work done before 3am, so I thre all my mail in piles on the floor. Now I am looking at it thinking: Maybe tonight I'll pick it up ;-) At least I weeded out the bills and paid them ;-)

I got a package in the mail today! I haven't picked it up yet, because they left me a note on my door...but Seymen won some creative memories picture cutting patterns and the cutters, for me on Ebay! I'm very excited. I can finally start scrapbooking my Grand Canyon Pictures. I also decided that I am going to make a Texas scrapbook/journal to keep me busy. I just have to start taking more pictures. It's so hard to remember to take them!

Anywhooo...I talked to Seymen earlier today. Supposedly, the Walmart/Fuji site went live today, so he went home and was already sleeping at 6pm. (Getting the sleep he's been missing for the past three weeks!) I'm hoping that this means that Seymen will have regular hours again...9am-6pm? 9am-8pm? Instead of 10am-5am...That would be nice ;-)

Anyway, I have to get going to my Salsa class! :-) Wish me luck :-) I was practicing in my closet a few minutes ago when I was trying to pick out good shoes to wear :-)

Weekend in Rochester

Hi! I'm back in Texas again! I had a good weekend visiting everyone and being home. It started out a little rough, because Friday night when I got home, my mom and sister told me about a car crash that occured in the City on Wednesday night. Sadly, one of our good family friends, another one of the Korean adopted girls that I grew up with, had died. It was so traumatic, and I am so sad. We went to the funeral first thing Saturday morning. It was really hard, but it was a really beautiful service, and I felt like I had a little closure on the whole expierence. I think it would have felt worse if I found out when I was gone and wasn't able to participate at all. But never the less, it was a difficult start the weekend.

My mom was really concerned, and wanted to make sure that we spent the remainder of the weekend, having a good time, under the circumstances, and just spending good quality family time together. I ended up just spending all day with my mom, Bill and Chrissy while Seymen went to work for a few hours. We then had a really nice dinner at the Yacht Club with my fam. and Jake, Seymen and my old roommate and good friend, Yada. She wanted to ask my mom for some advice about a job opportunity that she is being offered (her parents live in Thailand! So she just wanted a second opinion from someone close to her in the US). So we ended up playing cards all night and having some good discussions. Although, the night ended in us (Mom, Bill, Seymen, Yada, and I) in a very heated battle over Whizbang, with yelling and pounding the table so loud that we kept Chrissy up when she was trying to sleep :-) For those of you who don't know Whizbang, let me know and I'll introduce you to the wonderful world of competitve card games! :-) Poor Yada, it was her first time playing, and she did AWESOME, but Seymen, Bill and I did not hold back, and go slow as we usually do with beginners ;-)

Sunday, Seymen and I stayed at the apartment and got up early, and went to Fuji for a few hours. Tori called while I was there, so I left Seymen (after testing, and printing 6 mugs and a plate) and went to breakfast at the Diner. When we came back, I tested again and ordered 2 calanders, and then Tori, Seymen, and I went to my dad's to hang out until dinner time. Dad and Georiga, made us an AWESOME dinner, with all of our (Mine, Chrissy's and Seymen's) favorite and requested dishes. We had prime rib (Beth's Request), dad's homemade scalloped potatoes (Chrissy's request), Domadas (Seymen's request), and Spanikopita (Mine and Seymen's request). It was awesome food, and then Seymen's friends from work, Nate, Thaun, and Thaun's wife Chau to hang out and talk for a bit. It was really fun, and talked for a while.

Afterwards, we went back to my mom's so that she could see me and say goodbye, and then we went to Spot coffee and met with Maki to talk and visit. This morning, we had slept at the apartment again, and went into work (Fuji) for the morning. I took Seymen's car and went to LMNK where I saw all my old co-workers and went to lunch. They told me it just seemed so normal and natural to see me walk into the building and over to Carrie's cube, where Keith (my old Boss), Christa, Pam, and Mike we're all talking. It was great...Keith even offered to me that I could jump in and do a few storyboards while I was visiting ;-)

After lunch I went back to Fuji where I hung out and worked on a mini-project for my dad. Seymen made Maki buy tickets to come visit me (which is going to happend October 29th-31st). I think she was in shock :-) But she is really excited to come, and already trying to plan things to do!

Other than that, I came home and installed my new Sims 2 Game. I will start playing this weekend, because I think that my week is pretty busy...since it's so short, and Tracy and I have to study 2 nights this week, and salsa class. This weekend will be perfect for Sim-ing it up...So I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was really nice. I loved being home. I did OK leaving Rochester, but I cried in Chicago when I heard about the fun dinner plans Seymen had with Maki and his other work buddies. But I"m better now, and definitly relieved to be in warmer weather here! It is actually very nice! :-)

I did alot of thinking this weekend, and during the flight home, about my reactions to Texas, and how I am portraying my expierence. We (my fam. and Seymen) have come to the conclusion, after much analyzing, that I have gotten over the excitement part of this, and just expierenced the lonely, What the HELL did I do to myself stage...and I may feel like this sucks, and I hate it, but I don't think I do. There's good and bad, but in the end I always feel sad and panick in the beginning, and end up falling in love with it and never wanting to leave...or being really sad when I do leave. So anyway, if your reading this, and getting slightly worried about how I feel about my move, rest assured, I'm planning on sticking it out for a while (Especially because I have people with Tickets booked to come visit me into January of next year) and I'm going to make the best of what I have. :-) And I'm going to TRY to stop complaining about the bugs...as long as they stay out of my apartment...hehehe

Conversation with my Dad

I talked to my dad tonight finally...I just found out that my dad, Seymen, Nate, and Maki spent the night again at Fuji last night. Today my dad and Georiga bought Seymen and Nate: toothbrush, soap, deoderant, shirt, towels, and underware as a token of appreciation.

I'm talking on the phone with Maki right now as we speak, and she is making mugs with pictures of me and chrissy, me and Seymen, and me and maki. She just finished ordering 20 christmas cards with a picture of me and Chrissy, and now she's trying to order a big poster! All for free to test the system! :-) She just spent $50 on the Fuji Card for the mugs :-))) And I talked to my dad and he said that when I come this weekend I can make as many mugs as I want :-) Yipppeeee!!! I love free stuff and fun mugs!!!

I can't wait to go home. I can't wait to see everyone! Friday night Seymen and I are going to stay at my mom's so I'll be there first thing in the morning to see my sister, mom and bill. Then we're going to hang out and see friends. Saturday night we're all going out with Seymen's friends. Sunday we're going to Fuji while Seymen works, and I play and help test stuff. Sunday night dinner with Dad and Georiga, Chrissy, Jake and Seymen. Sunday night no plans. Monday I'm going to sleep in a little and then go to LMNK for lunch and see my friends there...Monday at 4:30 I fly back to Austin via Chicago. (Unless I decide to stay in Rochester...just joking)

I CAN'T WAITTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! I heard the go ahead from my dad, that it's a good weekend for me to come because everything is being frozen tomorrow end of the night, and they push next Tuesday, not this Sunday. So Seymen and everyone else will be free to hang out and CELEBRATE the ALMOST end of their project!!!!

Pumped

I'm so pumped up right now, I can't do any more work!!! I am going to try out the Salsa dancing class tonight (so I'll have to write and let you know how that goes)...but I had a good day today. I went to lunch with Shelly and Elizabeth at Olive Garden and had the wonderful soup, salad and breadsticks meal. It was delicious. This week, Steph and I are supposed to go to the scrapbooking store that is close by, which will be fun and motivating! I have to start on mine and Seymen's grand canyon vacation pictures :-) And I have decided that I need to take more pictures and make an on going scrapbook and journal of my time in Texas - However long I'll be here.... :-)

Seymen has been really really good to me this week too. He's been so busy at work...working every day from 10am until 4 or 5am. Poor guy is so tired, and their deadline just got pushed to this coming Monday (pushing it this coming Sunday...which semi-stinks because he'll have to work Sunday...but I'm kind of excited too because I like going to work with him, and hanging out and playing games. All his co-workers are really fun, and then we go out and eat and stuff. I'll probably get to see my dad that way too.) Anyway, he's been EXCELLENT about helping me practice my Turkish. I just started speaking to him in Turkish for the first time since my lessons in Texas have started. He said that he was definitly impressed. I'm much better than I was before, and I have been able to make my own sentances. I was even able to have him ask me a question and I answer it. My first dialog with him was as follows:

Seymen: "Kac kitap okuyor musun?" (How many books have you read)
Me: "Ben bir kitap okuyorum" (I have read 1 book).

Last night he practiced with me for about an hour or an hour and half, asking me questions, and answering my questions...Although he did get kind of mad when I started making sentances that wern't "right". Like I asked:

"Seymen, sen kolay musun?" (Seymen, are you easy?)

He got kind of annoyed at those questions...and then when I made him praise me or scold me in turkish when I got something right or wrong...

"Cok iyi, Beth! Cok iyi!" or "Cok kotu Beth, Cok Kotu" (Very good Beth, Very Good! or Very Bad Beth, Very bad)

Anyway...my turkish is definitly improving...and Seymen was impressed with the progress that I made since my previous classes. And he's still nice when I hang up and he says the not fun part of saying goodbye ("Allahasmarladuk") and I get to say the fun part ("Gule Gule!")

Countdown Begins

4 and 3/4 day's until I go home. I can't wait!!! I don't know if I am going to make it through the week and the plane ride. I leave here at 6:15pm and get into Rochester at 12am. I will be home until Monday @ 4:30pm.

Last night I made Seymen and his co-workers, and my friend Chris who just moved to Atlanta (The weekend before I moved to Texas) cookies :-) I'm sending them today on my lunch break.

My only plans for the week are my weekly get together's with Tracy to study turkish. And maaaaannn, we really do need to study. We were definitly at a loss this Saturday when we went back to our Turkish class. We might have to up our meetings to twice weekly, and phone or e-mail time to get more practice in. But at least I'm really learning it this time...IT's about time too, after 1.5 years of taking Turkish before now!!!

Excellent Night

Hi!!! Well I just had an EXCELLENT friday night! Steph and James, and Heidi and Nate come over for dinner. It was so fun!!! We had great conversation and laughed...It's was one of the best friday night's I've had in Texas so far :-))) As it turns out, Steph and another girl from work, Elizabeth, both enjoy scrapbooking. Steph brought her album over tonight and I was totally impressed!!! Her's was so cute, and it gave me some great ideas for future scrapbooks!!! Hopefully we'll all get together and have a night of scrapbooking! I think this weekend I'm going to out and buy some more scrapbooking tools!

Let's see...It's been so long since I've posted. Last weekend I went to Colorado for the weekend to visit my family. I stayed with my aunt, uncle, and cousins. I took friday off for a floating holiday, and flew in at 12noon. My uncle came and picked me up in his camero convertable! Then drove me downtown and we had a nice lunch on the roof of some resturant. When my cousin Colton came home, we played outside for a while (they have a trampoline!!) and then my aunt and uncle got a babysitter, and took me to Central City for a night of gambling. It was sooooooo awesome! My uncle even gave me $20 to gamble with!! ;-) We ended up leaving the casino up $46.75. The best part of the night was when I was walking down the stairs, and I tripped and started to fall down! My uncle just stood there watching me, going: "Ohhhh! Ohhhh!!"...."Don't drop the MONEY!" hehehehehe :-) I actually did really good and held the cup real close and didn't drop a quarter! :-)

Saturday I went to Colton's flag football game and Shelby's volleyball game. Then my uncle insisted that we go to this Halloween shop that just opened and we tried on hats and costumes. He bought a fake eye and some devil horns and spent the whole drive home trying to freak out other drivers :-) You have to have the mental picture of my uncle in a big honda mini-van, wearing these horns, growling at the people in the cars next to us, and putting the fake eyeball in his mouth! It was great :-) Saturday night, they took me to this bar in Pine (up in the mountains) called the Bucksnort. It was sooo cute, and rustic. They had deer and moose heads (and butts) on the wall. My cousin's and I got into a mean game of pool (which ended with Colton crying hehehe) and (I) drank lots of Antler Ale...Unfortunatly, they had to stop on the side of the road on the way home for me to take care of business outside, because I couldn't make it to their house :-) My mom called, and my cousin Shellby (so cute) goes: "Aunt Carol! We almost forgot to tell you! Beth is drunk!!" That was great :-) (She's 10 by the way, and my other cousin is 8).

On Sunday, I felt so guilty that I had forced myself to wake up go to Chruch with them :-) We then met my great aunts and uncles for brunch so I could see them before I caught my flight back to Texas. It was the best trip and definitly what I needed to get me through the weeks until my next trip to Rochester. (Which convienently is Next FRIDAY!! A WEEK FROM TODAY!!!!)

Monday was a tiring day at work, but I had a great night of playing Sims all night :-) I was able to make my Seymen and Beth character's get married :-) Tuesday and Wednesday night they had Harlaquien Romance Novels as Movies on the WE channel...so I spent both of those nights watching TV.

Thursday I went to Tracy and Ozan's house for Turkish study session. We always have so much fun studying and talking. It definitly takes us much longer to finish because we end up talking and getting off track :-) But she's soooo nice and funny. Ozan was babysitting Izel for the night so she was free to sit and talk and study. He was so cute too...When Izel fell asleep he came out and made sure that we didn't have any "Questions for the Turk" :-) (His exact words...while beating his chest). Anyway, Tracy invited me to Izel's 1st birthday on October 23rd. Seymen is going to look into coming down that weekend so he can come. There are supposed to be some other Turkish people there that I can meet too, so I thought it would be fun for Seymen to come...

I received a message from my mom tonight and she just bought tickets to come and visit me in November right after veteren's day, and then again in January on her way out to Seattle to visit Stephy.

Sooo...I think I got ya'll all caught up. Tomorrow I have turkish class and scrapbook tools shopping to do. I think tomorrow night is movie and popcorn night at Heidi and Nate's. Sunday is laundry and reading new books day/night. Then all I have to do is make it through next week and I'll be in ROCHESTER FOR THREE DAYS!!! YIPPPEEE (Friday to Monday). Monday I'm going to LMNK to visit, and have lunch with my friends from work! I can't wait to go home...and see my SEYMEN...and my FAMILY! and my FRIENDSSS!!! And go out drinkingggg!! Seymen promised that the guys would be up for it...and I have to eat at Shiki. And I have to see Thaun's wife Chau! She's so sweet. She writes to me at night when Thaun and Seymen are working late, and asks when I'm moving back home to Rochester :-) It used to be that we'd hang out at the office at night while they worked, and we'd play pool and ping pong...and try to speak through broken english and sign language. (She just moved here from Vietnam, and is still trying to learn english...but she's doing awesome and she tries so hard!!!)

Anyway, I'm going to go to bed now and read my new Danelle Steel book...while waiting for Seymen to have 5 seconds to call me back. Good night ya'll!!!
